The Telangana Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, held a key meeting at the Secretariat on Friday and took several important decisions on governance and administration. One of the major resolutions was to conduct a comprehensive investigation into transactions carried out through the Dharani land portal during the previous government’s tenure.
The Cabinet decided to constitute a Special Investigation Team (SIT) comprising officials from various government departments along with subject experts. The SIT will examine alleged irregularities in Dharani-related land transactions and submit its findings to the government.
After the Cabinet meeting, ministers Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar, Jupally Krishna Rao, and Adluri Laxman Kumar addressed the media and briefed reporters on the key decisions taken by the state Cabinet, including the formation of the SIT and other policy matters.
