KCR Mourns the Death of Former MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy

BRS chief and former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao expressed deep shock and grief over the untimely death of senior party leader and former MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy. KCR said he had lost a close friend and a trusted companion in the Telangana movement. He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Sudarshan Reddy’s family, supporters and party workers, assuring them that the BRS would stand by the bereaved family.

KCR fondly recalled Sudarshan Reddy’s contribution to the second phase of the Telangana statehood movement. He remembered the days when the two worked together during the movement in the erstwhile Warangal district. KCR said the party made every possible effort to save Sudarshan Reddy and that doctors had also worked tirelessly, but his death had caused immense pain and sorrow.

Paying tribute to the former MLA, KCR described Sudarshan Reddy as a fearless leader who played a significant role in the Telangana movement and in strengthening the BRS in Narsampet. He said Sudarshan Reddy remained committed to the party’s pink flag from the days of the statehood struggle until his final breath. KCR also praised his contribution to the development of the Narsampet constituency, saying that he had left an indelible mark both in the Telangana movement and in the progress of his constituency.
