Director Puri Jagannadh and acclaimed actor Vijay Sethupathi are set to collaborate on a major pan-India film. Preparations for this high-profile project are currently underway at a rapid pace. According to the latest information, the film’s first shooting schedule is set to begin in the last week of June this year.
The film unit is presently engaged in location scouting around Chennai and Hyderabad. Puri Jagannadh plans to craft the film as a full-fledged mass commercial entertainer, featuring a novel storyline in his distinctive style. Vijay Sethupathi’s role has reportedly been designed to be powerful and well-suited to his screen image.
The film is being produced under the Puri Connects banner by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur. The casting of actors and selection of technical crew have already been finalized. Vijay Sethupathi, along with other principal cast members, will participate in the first schedule of filming. According to film industry sources, prominent actress Tabu and Kannada actor Duniya Vijay will play key roles in the movie.
Puri Jagannadh is said to be placing special emphasis on visuals in line with the film’s narrative and is planning the production without compromising on technical quality. The film is set for a simultaneous release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages. Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi’s recent Tamil film Ace was released recently and has been well received by audiences.
