The Congress high command has announced significant organizational appointments to strengthen the operational framework of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC). On Thursday, the All India Congress Committee (AICC) issued an official statement from New Delhi detailing the formation of several crucial committees.
To oversee critical political developments and party strategy in the state, the AICC has constituted a Political Affairs Committee comprising 22 members. This committee is expected to play a central role in monitoring and advising on key political issues affecting the Telangana Congress.
In addition, a 15-member Advisory Committee has been formed, consisting of experienced leaders tasked with guiding the party and offering vital suggestions to shape its direction and initiatives.
As part of the party’s preparatory measures for upcoming electoral processes, a seven-member Delimitation Committee has been established. This committee will specifically address party matters related to the future constituency reorganization (delimitation) process.
To ensure the effective implementation of the Congress party’s nationwide initiative, the “Save the Constitution Programme” (Samvidhaan Bachao Programme), a dedicated 16-member committee has been appointed to lead this campaign in Telangana.
Further emphasizing the importance of discipline within the party, the AICC has also set up a six-member Disciplinary Action Committee. This committee will be responsible for addressing any violations and taking appropriate actions when necessary.
The AICC stated in its announcement that these newly formed committees are aimed at reinforcing the organizational strength of the TPCC and enhancing its readiness for upcoming political challenges.
