Former MP Suresh Gives Contradictory Answers During Police Interrogation.

According to credible sources, YSRCP leader and former Member of Parliament Nandigam Suresh reportedly gave inconsistent and vague responses during police interrogation regarding the assault case on Telugu Desam Party (TDP) worker Isukapalli Krishna (also known as Raju). The incident in question occurred in the village of Uddandarayunipalem.

The Tullur police took Nandigam Suresh into custody for three days for questioning in connection with the attack on Krishna. On the third day of custody, Tullur Circle Inspector Konka Srinivasa Rao interrogated Suresh from the afternoon until evening. Though Suresh’s legal counsel was informed, the advocate did not attend the session.

Following the conclusion of the custody period, Suresh is scheduled to be produced before the Mangalagiri Court today after undergoing a medical examination.

During the inquiry, police reportedly questioned Suresh about the individuals involved in the assault on Krishna and the ownership of the two-wheelers allegedly used in the attempted abduction. Suresh is said to have responded that none of his followers participated in the assault and denied any kidnapping attempt. However, when police presented evidence suggesting approximately 20 people were involved—as claimed by the victims—Suresh allegedly responded indifferently, stating he had no knowledge of the matter and did not recognize anyone involved.

When asked, “How many followers do you have?” Suresh reportedly replied that since he lost his MP position, no one has been accompanying him. Regarding the whereabouts of the vehicles used during the assault, no answer was reportedly provided by Suresh.

When asked why he did not file a police complaint if Krishna had indeed verbally abused him, Suresh is said to have remained silent. Despite repeated questioning about the assault, Suresh reportedly gave evasive responses throughout the three-day interrogation. Police have announced that a comprehensive report on the investigation will be submitted to the court.

Bail Petition Hearing Adjourned

In the attempted murder case filed by Isukapalli Krishna, the bail petition submitted by Nandigam Suresh was heard yesterday by Guntur Second Additional District Court’s in-charge judge V.A.L. Satyavati. The judgment has been postponed to June 2. The same day, a verdict will also be issued on the anticipatory bail petition filed by Suresh’s wife, Babyrani, in the same case, according to the judge.

Alla Petition Hearing Deferred to June 4

Separately, in the case involving an attack on the Telugu Desam Party’s state office, Mangalagiri’s former MLA and YSRCP leader Alla Ramakrishna Reddy, who is a named accused, filed an anticipatory bail petition. District Chief Judge B. Sai Kalyana Chakravarthi has adjourned the hearing to June 4 to allow time for the public prosecutor to present arguments. Until then, the judge instructed the police not to take any serious action against Ramakrishna Reddy.
