The Maha Shivaratri Brahmotsavams at the Srisaila Mallanna Temple in Nandyal District, Andhra Pradesh (AP), are scheduled to take place from February 8th to February 18th. Temple Executive Officer (EO) Srinivas Rao has instructed officials to make robust arrangements for the lakhs of devotees expected to attend the festival.
Focus on Devotee Arrangements
The EO has specifically directed officials to concentrate on making special arrangements for devotees in several key areas. These preparations include organizing the queue lines (queues), ensuring the availability of drinking water, and making provisions for the devotees’ walkway through the forest region. The focus is on providing a comfortable and safe experience for the massive pilgrim influx during the 11-day festival period.
Key Festival Events

The Pagalamkarana (decoration ceremony) and the Brahmotsava Kalyanam (celestial wedding of the deities) will be grandly celebrated on February 15th. Following this, the Rathotsavam (chariot festival) of the Swami and Ammavaru will be held magnificently on February 16th.
