BMW India Announces Price Hike Across Portfolio From July 1; Toyota Launches Feature-Packed Innova Crysta

BMW Group India has officially announced a price correction across its entire model range, effective from July 1. The luxury carmaker revealed that prices will see an upward revision of up to 2%. This price hike will be applicable to locally manufactured models as well as vehicles imported via the Completely Built-Up (CBU) route. The company attributed the decision to a steady rise in input and raw material costs, advising prospective buyers looking to purchase a new luxury vehicle to close their bookings before the end of this month to bypass the upcoming hike.

Simultaneously, Toyota Kirloskar Motor has expanded its footprint in the multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) segment by introducing a refreshed version of its highly popular Innova Crysta. Designed to cater to premium family travelers and corporate transit fleets, the new iteration comes packed with advanced luxury elements and modern cabin technology. Toyota has strategically positioned the premium vehicle with an attractive introductory ex-showroom price starting at ₹19.72 lakh, aimed at maintaining its long-standing dominance in the domestic utility vehicle space.

Automobile manufacturers are increasingly restructuring their pricing mechanisms to mitigate the burden of fluctuating operational overheads and component shortages. Since car companies frequently alter price structures based on third-party spare part availability, market experts emphasize that buyers must actively track seasonal offers and structural cost alterations. Because these macroeconomic changes heavily influence automotive purchasing cycles, consumers are highly encouraged to visit their nearest authorized dealer outlets to obtain the most authentic, location-specific latest on-road price charts.
