Samantha’s Box Office Storm: ‘Maa Inti Bangaaram’ Inches Closer to the ₹50-Crore Club After an Impressive First Weekend

Star actress Samantha’s latest family-crime action drama, Maa Inti Bangaaram, directed by B.V. Nandini Reddy, is roaring loud at the box office. Despite opening to mixed talk and average reviews from critics on June 19, the film has defied all expectations by drawing massive crowds over its first weekend. The female-centric entertainer has shown an incredible upward trajectory, showcasing Samantha’s immense pulling power at the ticket windows across both domestic and international markets.

According to official figures released by the makers, Maa Inti Bangaaram kicked off its box office journey by collecting a strong ₹13.15 crore gross globally on Friday. Exhibiting great growth through word-of-mouth, the film held remarkably well on Saturday to cross the ₹28-crore mark in two days. Sunday witnessed the highest single-day turnout yet, with the movie registering a spectacular ₹15 crore gross, bringing its total worldwide first-weekend collections to an impressive ₹43+ crore. With steady advance bookings holding up well for the weekday transition, the movie is on track to cross the coveted ₹50-crore milestone within the next day or two.

The movie is performing exceptionally well overseas, particularly in the North American circuit where it has already entered the elite $1 million club. With this achievement, Samantha has created a sensational milestone, becoming the South Indian actress with the highest number of $1 million movies (17 films in total) in North America. Jointly produced by Samantha, Raj Nidimoru, and Himank Duvvuru under the Tralala Pictures banner, Maa Inti Bangaaram features a stellar supporting cast including Gulshan Devaiah, Diganth, Gautami, and Sree Mukhi, with background scores composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
