Political war intensifies between CM Revanth Reddy and KTR over Globareena issue

A fierce political confrontation has erupted between Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) over the Globareena issue. Revanth Reddy made sharp remarks against KTR, stating that “only a person with reputation files a defamation suit.” He said that a comprehensive investigation into the Globareena matter would be conducted only if KTR officially lodges a complaint with the CCS. The Chief Minister added that if he initiates action directly, it would be portrayed as a politically motivated vendetta.

Revanth Reddy also stated that an inquiry would be conducted into how the Janwada land issue is linked to the Globareena matter. In response, KTR said that he had already sent a defamation notice to the Chief Minister and warned that if a satisfactory reply is not received, he would pursue the matter in court.

KTR questioned why the present Congress government entered into an agreement with Globareena if it was indeed his company. He challenged Revanth Reddy to order an immediate investigation and proposed that both of them undergo a lie detector test. KTR further stated that cases could be filed against him on any issue, including Globareena, phone tapping, or the Formula E Race, and remarked that he was ready even if Rahul Gandhi came and staged a protest in front of his house. The controversy is now taking new turns in Telangana politics.
