The election of the Vijaya Dairy Chairman in Vijayawada has triggered fresh political discussions within the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP). According to political sources, the party leadership has taken a serious view of the actions of Chalasani Anjaneyulu, who reportedly filed his nomination for the director’s post despite party instructions and was later elected Chairman unanimously. The developments have intensified speculation over the party’s next course of action.
Reports suggest that senior TDP leaders had advised Chalasani Anjaneyulu not to contest for the director’s position. However, he is said to have gone ahead with his nomination and subsequently secured unanimous election as Chairman of Vijaya Dairy. Political circles claim that the party leadership is unhappy with his decision, viewing it as being contrary to the party’s directives.
Amid these developments, there is speculation that Ministers Saradhi and Kollu Ravindra urged Chalasani Anjaneyulu to resign from the Chairman’s post. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding these reports. The issue has gained further attention as Chalasani is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital, adding another dimension to the ongoing political developments.
