Andhra Pradesh Minister Savitha said the state government is giving top priority to the education and welfare of students from Backward Classes (BCs). She stated that significant funds are being allocated for the development of BC residential schools and hostels across the state.
The government is also taking special measures to provide quality higher education opportunities to meritorious BC students. According to the minister, the focus is on creating better academic facilities and supporting talented students in pursuing their educational goals.
As part of these efforts, the government is setting up Centres of Excellence to provide specialised coaching for competitive examinations such as IIT-JEE and NEET. These initiatives are aimed at helping BC students access better coaching and improve their chances of securing admissions to premier educational institutions.
