Every eligible citizen should verify their details in the electoral rolls, the District Election Officer and District Collector said in a statement issued on Saturday. As part of the Special Intensive Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls–2026, special campaign days are being conducted across the district to receive claims and objections from voters regarding the electoral rolls.
Following the directions of the Election Commission of India and the Chief Electoral Officer of Andhra Pradesh, special campaign days will be held at all polling stations in the district on August 22, 23, 29 and 30. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and Booth Level Agents (BLAs) appointed by political parties will be available at the respective polling stations during the designated hours.
The BLOs will provide voters with the necessary information and guidance regarding the electoral rolls and assist them in submitting claims and objections. Citizens have been urged to make use of the special campaign days and ensure that their names and details are correctly included in the voter list.
