Hyderabad Traffic Police have made extensive arrangements to ensure that devotees visiting the famous Khairatabad Bada Ganesh idol do not face any inconvenience during the festival. Traffic management measures have been put in place considering the large number of visitors expected.
Hyderabad Traffic Joint Commissioner of Police Joel Davis said more than 30 lakh devotees are expected to visit the idol this year. Authorities are preparing for the heavy rush to ensure smooth movement of devotees and vehicles in the area.
Keeping the expected crowd in mind, around 500 traffic police personnel have been specially deployed on duty. The arrangements are aimed at preventing traffic congestion and ensuring that devotees can reach the Khairatabad Ganesh idol without disruption.
