The free distribution of cool drinks at a major junction in Metpally town of Telangana’s Jagtial district created a commotion. After news that a dealer was giving away cool drinks for free went viral on social media, a large number of people gathered at the spot, leading to heavy crowding.
However, some consumers checked the expiry dates on the bottles and noticed that the drinks were set to expire on the 19th of this month. With only a few days remaining before the expiry date, the discovery raised questions among locals.
Locals are now questioning the reason behind the free distribution. There is speculation that the dealer may be trying to clear stock that is nearing its expiry date, though the exact reason for the distribution remains unclear.
