“Secret Pact Exists Between Chandrababu and Revanth Reddy”: Kakani Govardhan Reddy’s Bold Allegations

Former Minister and YSRCP leader Kakani Govardhan Reddy has leveled serious allegations against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, claiming a secret agreement exists between the two. Speaking to the media, Kakani asserted that this hidden pact is the reason behind Naidu’s soft stance regarding the state’s interests. He criticized the Chief Minister for allegedly neglecting vital irrigation projects in the Rayalaseema region to satisfy personal political motives.

Kakani announced that the YSRCP is gearing up for a major struggle to protect the water rights of Rayalaseema. He accused Chandrababu Naidu of deliberately stalling the Rayalaseema Lift Irrigation Scheme, a project initiated by former CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy with a long-term vision for the region’s prosperity. According to Kakani, this obstruction has caused significant injustice to the farmers of Rayalaseema, leaving their fields parched while the government remains indifferent.

Further attacking the TDP’s governance, Kakani claimed that the ruling party is returning to its old ways of exploitation under the guise of farmer-centric schemes. He drew parallels to the controversial ‘Neeru-Chettu’ program, alleging that TDP leaders are once again looking to siphon off funds. He called upon the farmers of the region to unite and prepare for a movement to demand the completion of pending projects, vowing that YSRCP would continue to fight until Rayalaseema’s rightful share of water is secured.
