Expectations are skyrocketing for the sequel to the blockbuster psychological suspense thriller web series ‘Dhootha’, which stands as a landmark hit in Akkineni Naga Chaitanya’s career. Marking a major milestone, the official launch and principal photography for ‘Dhootha 2’ recently commenced with a traditional pooja ceremony. Veteran Tollywood actor Nagarjuna graced the event as the chief guest and sounded the mahurat clapboard. This highly anticipated season marks a significant transition for Naga Chaitanya, who is stepping into a brand-new avatar as a producer, making this project his official debut in film and digital production.
Slated for an exclusive global premiere on the leading OTT platform Amazon Prime Video, the brand-new season is being spearheaded once again by acclaimed director Vikram K. Kumar, who masterfully helmed the critically acclaimed first part. Powerhouse performers Parvathy Thiruvothu and Priya Bhavani Shankar, who captivated audiences with their gripping performances in the inaugural season, are confirmed to reprise their pivotal roles.
