“No Bargains There”: Samantha Says Her Journey Wouldn’t Exist Without Her Debut Film

Star actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has set a brand new benchmark in movie promotions by participating in a record-breaking 40 video interviews in a single day for her highly anticipated upcoming film, Maa Inti Bangaram. Directed by B.V. Nandini Reddy, this family action entertainer is all set to hit theaters worldwide on June 19. During her promotional interactions, Samantha reflected deeply on her cinematic journey, noting that while her debut film Ye Maaya Chesave laid the definitive foundation for her career, Maa Inti Bangaram has given her a fresh lease on life as both an actress and a mainstream producer.

Addressing the changing dynamics of cinema, Samantha emphasized that drawing audiences to theaters has become an uphill task in the OTT era, which motivated her to push boundaries for her promotional campaign. When playfully asked by an interviewer to choose between her iconic debut Ye Maaya Chesave and her latest venture Maa Inti Bangaram, the actress smiled and responded, “There are no bargains on this matter. If my very first film hadn’t happened, my entire journey wouldn’t even exist.” She added emotionally that without the success of her debut, she would never have bagged landmark career projects like Eega or Rangasthalam.

Maa Inti Bangaram promises to showcase Samantha in a completely unprecedented avatar, blending family drama with intense action sequences. The film marks a prestigious milestone for the actress as it is produced directly under her home banner, ‘Tralala Moving Pictures’. Adding to its elite credentials, the story for this venture has been penned by the renowned filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, with the project successfully wrapping up its censor formalities ahead of the grand June 19 release. Driven by its massive promotional buzz and Samantha’s dedication, the movie is sailing into theaters riding on exceptionally high expectations.
