President Murmu Urges Tribal Youth to Lead Social and Educational Change

President Droupadi Murmu called upon tribal youth across the country to prepare themselves for change and work towards improving their socio-economic and educational conditions by making the best use of government initiatives. Addressing the first convocation of the Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh in Visakhapatnam, she urged graduating students to contribute to an inclusive and progressive India where no one is left behind.

The President said the government is making continuous efforts to uplift tribal and Adivasi communities, but stressed that beneficiaries also have a responsibility to transform society. She encouraged students to work not only for their personal growth but also to bring positive changes in education, culture, traditions, and the economy. Murmu emphasized that the government’s initiatives would achieve their true purpose only when people actively participate in nation-building.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Andhra Pradesh Human Resource Development Minister Nara Lokesh also attended the convocation ceremony. Both leaders highlighted the importance of quality education, skill development, and empowering tribal communities to play a greater role in the country’s development.
