The Telangana government has released the fifth installment of financial assistance under the Rythu Bharosa scheme, depositing ₹545.41 crore into the bank accounts of 1.69 lakh farmers owning up to six acres of cultivable land. The latest disbursement is part of the state’s phased implementation of the farmer support programme.
With this installment, the total amount released under the scheme has reached ₹7,135.78 crore, benefiting nearly 67.45 lakh farmers across the state. The government said the financial assistance is being extended to all eligible farmers in phases to help reduce the burden of cultivation expenses and support agricultural activities.
Officials stated that the remaining eligible beneficiaries will also receive assistance in the coming phases. The government reiterated its commitment to ensuring timely financial support for farmers through the Rythu Bharosa scheme and said the remaining funds would be released soon.
