Rashmika Mandanna is pushing her physical limits for her upcoming pan-India action entertainer Mysaa, where she performs one of the most demanding sequences of her career. Directed by debutant Rawindra Pulle and produced by Unformula Films, the movie is nearing completion, with the makers preparing to unveil its first look soon. One of the film’s major highlights is an underwater action sequence, in which Rashmika reportedly spent nearly 20 hours underwater over two days, performing the stunts herself without the use of a body double.
The makers describe the sequence as India’s first female-led underwater fight scene and believe it will be one of the film’s biggest attractions. For the movie, Rashmika portrays a Gond tribal woman, a role that required extensive physical training and preparation before filming. Her commitment and transformation have reportedly impressed both the technical crew and the action team.
Mysaa also features Rahul Ravindran and Eshwari Rao in key roles. The film’s cinematography is handled by Shreyaas P. Krishna, while Jakes Bejoy has composed the music. Internationally acclaimed stunt choreographer Kecha Khamphakdee has designed the action sequences, adding to the film’s high production values and action-packed appeal.
