They later directed officials to make all necessary arrangements for the funeral.
Mudragada Padmanabham was widely recognized for his contributions to Andhra Pradesh politics. He served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) four times, was elected once as a Member of Parliament (MP), and also held responsibilities as a minister in the state cabinet. The government said the decision was taken in recognition of his long-standing public service.
Following the decision, the state government instructed the district administration, police department, and other officials to ensure all arrangements are made for the funeral with full official honours.
