Two separate murder incidents in Palnadu and Kurnool districts of Andhra Pradesh have created tension and drawn widespread attention. A YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader was murdered in Palnadu, while a Telugu Desam Party (TDP) worker was killed in Kurnool. Police have registered separate cases and launched investigations into both incidents.
In Rentachintala of Palnadu district, YSRCP leader Navuluri Chennareddy was found murdered. According to preliminary information, unidentified assailants allegedly slit his throat. The incident occurred near Pulolla Bavi on the road connecting Rentachintala and Rentala. After receiving information, Rentachintala police rushed to the spot, recovered the body, and shifted it to the Gurazala Government Hospital for post-mortem examination. Police are investigating the motive behind the murder and trying to identify the perpetrators.
In a separate incident in Kurnool district, TDP worker Sheikh Intiyaz Basha was also murdered, triggering concern in the area. Police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the killing. Authorities are probing both incidents independently to determine the motive and identify those responsible.
