The Telangana government has taken a major step towards fulfilling the dream of owning a home for poor and middle-class families living in Hyderabad. As part of its ambitious plan to construct 1 lakh Indiramma housing flats across Greater Hyderabad, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is set to perform the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Indiramma Housing Towers in KPHB Colony.
In the first phase, the government has identified 18 locations across 16 Assembly constituencies within the CURE limits. Administrative approval has already been granted for the construction of 7,340 flats at an estimated cost of ₹807.40 crore. The initiative is aimed at providing affordable housing opportunities to eligible beneficiaries in the city.
As part of the project, plans have been prepared to construct 480 flats at a single location in KPHB Colony. The government expects the housing initiative to provide significant relief to eligible poor and middle-class families and help them move closer to achieving their dream of owning a permanent home.
