1. Most balls faced in Test cricket
Dravid holds the record for facing the most deliveries in Test cricket. Across his 164-Test career, he faced an incredible 31,258 balls—a testament to his extraordinary concentration, patience and longevity at the crease. Guinness World Records lists this as the all-time record.
2. 210 Test catches as a non-wicketkeeper
Dravid was also one of India’s finest slip fielders. He took 210 catches in Test cricket, setting the record for the most catches by a non-wicketkeeper at the time. However, this record is no longer the current world record: England’s Joe Root surpassed him in 2025.
3. 20 century partnerships with Sachin Tendulkar
Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar formed one of the most successful batting partnerships in Test cricket. The duo shared 20 century partnerships, a remarkable achievement that remains an important part of Dravid’s legacy. They also accumulated 6,920 runs together in partnerships, another Guinness-recognised career record.
