Veteran Tamil actress Sowcar Janaki has reportedly been hospitalised after suffering from respiratory-related health issues. She was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai about a week ago after her condition required medical attention.
Her health condition reportedly worsened on Wednesday night, following which she was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The 95-year-old actress is currently receiving treatment with ventilator support, according to reports.
Sowcar Janaki, who resides in Chennai’s Alwarpet area, has been experiencing age-related health issues for some time. Her latest health setback has caused concern among her family members and fans, who are hoping for her speedy recovery.
