CITU District Secretary Yernam Sai Kiran has demanded the immediate filling of the vacant Cluster Coordinator (CC) post in Kukunoor Mandal of Eluru district. He said the mandal has four clusters, but only three CCs are currently working, leaving one cluster under the additional charge of a CC from another cluster.
He said the arrangement is causing difficulties for VOs and Animators in carrying out their duties, coordinating activities and ensuring proper supervision. Sai Kiran urged the authorities to appoint a dedicated CC for every cluster to improve the functioning of the field-level workforce.
A meeting of the Velugu VOAs (Animators) Employees’ Union affiliated with CITU was held at the Sundarayya Bhavan Public Organisations Office on Thursday under the chairmanship of Kurra Gracy. Speaking at the meeting, Sai Kiran highlighted the issues faced by employees and called for immediate steps to fill the vacant post.
