Chiranjeevi–Srikanth Odela Film: Birthday Post Puts Rumors to Rest

Megastar Chiranjeevi and young director Srikanth Odela had earlier announced a highly anticipated project together. However, rumors recently surfaced that the film had been shelved due to delays, with reports claiming that Chiranjeevi was unhappy with the progress of the story. Srikanth Odela is currently busy directing Natural Star Nani’s The Paradise, which reportedly led to speculation about the future of his project with Chiranjeevi.

The latest birthday post by Srikanth Odela for Chiranjeevi appears to have put an end to those rumors. Wishing the megastar on his birthday, the director expressed his excitement about beginning the shoot of their film. His post has made it clear that the much-awaited project has not been canceled. Srikanth is expected to focus on the Chiranjeevi project after completing The Paradise.

The film is reportedly set against a period backdrop and is said to be inspired by real incidents from the 1970s, particularly events that took place after 1974–75. Producer Sudhakar Cherukuri had earlier hinted at the film’s period setting. The previously released looks featuring Chiranjeevi with blood-stained hands have also raised expectations for a raw, rustic and intense action drama with a gritty backdrop.
