Anakapalli to Emerge as One of India’s Best Industrial Hubs: Chandrababu Naidu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has said that Anakapalli will no longer be known only for its jaggery, but will emerge as one of the country’s leading industrial hubs in the coming years. He said that seeing people appreciate the development works being undertaken by the government would be the greatest satisfaction. Responding to criticism, Naidu stated that every initiative aimed at benefiting society faces challenges, but the state’s development journey would not stop.

Naidu also strongly criticized the misinformation surrounding Google’s proposed data center in Visakhapatnam, particularly claims that the project would lead to a severe water shortage. He questioned how water could have already dried up when the data center has not even commenced operations. The Chief Minister said the government is committed to the comprehensive development of North Andhra and assured that Godavari water would soon be brought to Anakapalli and Visakhapatnam districts.

The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the Godavari water transfer works would be completed by the first week of September. He said the North Andhra Sujala Sravanthi project would be accelerated to ensure the supply of Godavari water. Naidu also welcomed the arrival of advanced quantum computing technology in Amaravati, calling it a matter of pride for the state. He made it clear that the government would focus on attracting industries, strengthening infrastructure and speeding up major projects despite criticism.
