Paralakhemundi police have successfully solved a house burglary case and arrested 25-year-old Chintala Kalyan, son of Chintala Hemanth Kumar of Sanjay Gandhi Colony. The arrest was made in connection with Paralakhemundi Police Station Case No. 373/2026, registered on September 10, 2026, under Sections 331(4) and 305(a) of the BNS.
The case was registered based on a written complaint filed by 19-year-old V. Damarnath alias V. Dharmananda, a resident of Kaviti Street in Paralakhemundi. According to the complaint, the incident occurred during the night of September 7-8, when the complainant was asleep.
At around 2 a.m., an unidentified person allegedly broke the hook on the back door of the house and entered the premises. Police investigated the case and subsequently arrested Kalyan in connection with the burglary.
