CM Chandrababu Naidu Marks Birthday by Clearing Critical Welfare Funds for the Poor..

Significant Approval for Chief Minister’s Relief Fund

On the occasion of his 76th birthday, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu demonstrated his commitment to public welfare by signing a crucial file related to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF). The Chief Minister approved the release of ₹56.39 crore, which is set to benefit 7,074 individuals who had applied for financial assistance to cover medical expenses. This humanitarian gesture has become a hallmark of his administration, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder access to essential healthcare for the underprivileged.

A Day Dedicated to People’s Service

Continuing his tradition of starting significant days with acts of service, the Chief Minister began his birthday by visiting an Anna Canteen, where he shared breakfast with the common public. Earlier in the day, he received blessings from Vedic scholars at his Undavalli camp office. The critical CMRF file was signed while he was en route to the Gannavaram airport, underscoring his focus on governance even during personal milestones. Government sources noted that the Naidu administration prioritizes the health and well-being of the poor, viewing these welfare measures as a fundamental responsibility.

Consistent Support Over 22 Months

The recent disbursement is part of a larger, sustained effort by the state government. Over the past 22 months since the current government took office, the CMRF has released a total of ₹1,298.33 crore, providing relief to over 1.43 lakh beneficiaries. This consistent flow of funds highlights the “Praja Prabhutvam” (People’s Government) approach, aimed at providing a robust safety net for families facing medical emergencies. By integrating welfare activities into his birthday schedule, Naidu has reinforced his image as a leader focused on grassroots development and humanitarian aid.
