The death of Rajender, the brother of Oscar-winning lyricist Chandrabose, has taken a suspicious turn after family members discovered unexplained injuries on his body. While initial reports on Monday suggested that Rajender had passed away due to a sudden heart attack, his wife, Vasantha, has raised serious concerns regarding the circumstances of his demise. Based on her formal complaint, the police have registered a Zero FIR and initiated a comprehensive investigation into the matter.
Rajender, a real estate businessman residing in Bowrampet near Dundigal, had reportedly informed his wife on the 18th of last month that he was traveling to Bengaluru. However, on Sunday, the family received a call from the police in Kalikiri, Annamayya district, Andhra Pradesh, stating that Rajender had been found dead. According to preliminary reports, Rajender had stayed at a friend’s house in Kalikiri on Saturday night and was found lifeless the following morning.
Although the body was moved to Mamata Hospital in Bachupally for preservation, the discovery of physical wounds has led the family to suspect foul play. Local authorities are now examining the case from multiple angles, including questioning the individuals Rajender was last seen with in Kalikiri. The police are awaiting the final post-mortem report to determine whether the death was due to natural causes or resulted from a physical assault.
