The reckless confrontation, which escalated to the point of intentionally ramming vehicles into each other, has sparked a intense public debate regarding law and order and the behavior of privileged heirs in the city.
The cinematic clash unfolded last night when Bollu Om and Lingamaneni Rohit confronted each other in their luxury Thar vehicles. According to the preliminary investigation by the police, a romantic dispute was the root cause of the violent showdown. Bollu Om was traveling in his car with a young woman when he crossed paths with Rohit. What began as a heated verbal argument quickly turned dangerous as both individuals began using their heavy SUVs as weapons, repeatedly smashing into each other’s vehicles during peak traffic hours, causing severe panic among local commuters and residents.
The backgrounds of both individuals reveal significant political connections. Bollu Om is the grandson of the late Bollu Brahmanandam, a highly influential former mayor and veteran political leader who was a key figure in both the Congress and Telugu Desam parties. Leveraging his family’s deep-rooted political clout, Om maintains an extensive network in the city and has reportedly been linked to minor controversies in the past. He is currently associated with the YSRCP and is said to be a close relative of former minister Jogi Ramesh.
