Empowering Gen-Z: Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu Inks Landmarks Deals with Meta and Amazon to Boost MSMEs

Historic Tech Partnerships for Global Outreach:

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has taken a major stride toward catapulting its Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) onto the international stage. In the presence of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu at the “MSME Growth Summit 2026” in Vijayawada, the AP MSME Development Corporation signed strategic MoUs with global technology giants including Meta, Amazon, and Zoho. The Chief Minister emphasized that these agreements aim to fulfill the entrepreneurial aspirations of the Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha generations by providing global marketing, branding, and e-commerce avenues for products manufactured in rural pockets, driven by the government’s core vision of transforming local industries “From Village to Global Market.”

Launch of Mega Industrial Infrastructure Projects:

To provide a massive infrastructural boost to the state’s industrial sector, Chief Minister Naidu virtually laid the foundation stones for 38 new MSME industrial parks across various assembly constituencies, steering toward the government’s ultimate goal of establishing one park per constituency. Furthermore, he officially rolled out two major financial programs: the “AP Cluster Development Program” backed by ₹200 crore, and the “Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s Entrepreneur Program” (APCMEP) with an outlay of ₹300 crore. Highlighting the administration’s proactive governance model, the Chief Minister stated that they operate on a strict “Signing-Grounding-Opening” policy, ensuring that business agreements are seamlessly transitioned into fully operational ground-level industries without administrative delays.

A Vision for 100 Unicorns and Economic Innovation:

Underscoring the MSME sector as the state’s largest employment generator after agriculture, Naidu reassured entrepreneurs that the public government is fully committed to their growth, noting that ₹558 crore in pending industrial incentives have already been disbursed. He unveiled an ambitious long-term roadmap to groom 500,000 DWCRA women into independent entrepreneurs and establish at least 100 homegrown “Unicorn” startups through the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub. Aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Chip to Ship” manufacturing slogan, the state is actively developing Visakhapatnam, Amaravati, and Tirupati as premier economic zones. As part of the summit, the government also signed a pact with SIDBI to create a ₹20 crore corpus fund dedicated solely to deep-tech startups.
