Mega Job News: Revanth Reddy’s Government Set to Fill Over 6,000 Vacancies via TGPSC

The Telangana government, led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, is finalising preparations to release recruitment notifications for over 6,000 vacant government jobs across various departments. The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC) has gathered extensive data regarding empty posts from diverse ministries and is working at a brisk pace to announce the official examination schedules. This upcoming wave of recruitment comes as a massive boost for job aspirants who have been waiting for state employment opportunities, prompting them to accelerate their exam preparation.

The major share of these 6,000 vacant positions belongs to the educational sector. Official sources indicate that there are more than 1,000 lecturer vacancies in government degree colleges, over 300 teaching positions in government polytechnic institutions, and at least 100 teaching posts in District Institutes of Education and Training (DIET). Additionally, significant vacancies for junior lecturers and physical education teachers (PETs) are available in junior colleges. Beyond education, vacancies have also been mapped across other key sectors including the Endowment Department, Forest Department, Survey Settlement, Municipal Administration, and TSRTC, for which the RTC Managing Director has already officially written to the TGPSC.

To enhance convenience for candidates, the TGPSC has decided to incorporate highly student-friendly structural changes into its scheduling strategy. To ensure that state-level exam dates do not overlap with national-level tests conducted by the UPSC or SSC, the commission will formulate its calendar in alignment with central recruitment boards. Furthermore, rather than overwhelming aspirants by releasing all vacancy advertisements concurrently, the TGPSC plans to release one notification every two weeks, effectively allowing candidates to systematically prepare and apply for multiple eligible roles. To access these updates, the commission has specified that applicants must keep their One-Time Registration (OTR) updated on the official portal.
