The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced a series of significant changes to the issuance of SRIVANI Trust VIP Break Darshan tickets, aimed at curbing online malpractices and streamlining the process for devotees. As part of its latest resolution, the temple administration will allow devotees donating ₹10,000 to the trust to book 500 of the total daily quota of 1,500 tickets under an advanced booking system up to three months ahead. TTD Executive Officer Muddada Ravichandra stated that this comprehensive overhaul is specifically designed to minimize waiting times for common pilgrims while addressing a substantial backlog of existing donors.
Under the newly structured breakdown, the remaining daily allocation of SRIVANI tokens will be distributed through specific quotas. Tirupati Airport will continue to issue 200 tickets under current counter-booking, while 800 tokens remain designated for daily general slots. Crucially, out of this daily quota, TTD has decided to specially reserve 300 tickets for devotees who paid their ₹10,000 donation after May 1, 2025, but have been waiting on a backlog list. Donors can book these slots daily from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, permitting them sanctum access at 4:00 PM on the very same day.
This updated framework will officially come into effect on June 10, 2026, and is slated to remain operational until March 31, 2027. Any unclaimed tickets from the donor quota will automatically be diverted to current booking counters to ensure efficient utilization. To further eliminate exploitation by middlemen, TTD plans to introduce a transparent lucky-dip system for these tickets. Additionally, the EO revealed that temple authorities are actively evaluating proposals to open dedicated SRIVANI ticket counters at regional airports in Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, and Rajahmundry to safely clear the estimated backlog of 41,000 waiting donors over the coming months.
