Pawan Kalyan Gets Emotional Recalling His Bond with Gaddar, Questions Critics Over Their Support..

Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan delivered an emotional speech during a press conference at his Hyderabad residence, vigorously defending his relationship with the late folk singer and activist Gaddar. He took a sharp dig at self-proclaimed leftist analysts and political critics who are now using Gaddar’s legacy for politics, questioning where they were and what they actually did for the legendary singer when he was alive. Pawan highlighted the hypocrisy of regional and ideological factions, pointing out that true humanism transcends the rigid boundaries of left-wing or right-wing politics.

Revealing a deeply personal story, Pawan Kalyan shared that after being shot, Gaddar faced immense physical difficulty walking and traveling in auto-rickshaws. Gaddar approached him at the Jana Sena office in Journalist Colony, comfortably addressing him as “brother” (Thammudu), and asked if Pawan could arrange a vehicle for him. Within 24 hours, Pawan privately bought and gifted him a car—a gesture he had never publicized until now. He contrasted this quiet support with the actions of his current critics, who he claimed did not even grant Gaddar basic permissions while he was alive, yet eagerly speak about him today.

Pawan Kalyan also clarified his longstanding stance on Telangana, firmly refuting false rumors that he opposed the formation of the state. He clarified that he never went on a hunger strike against Telangana’s creation, but rather opposed the undemocratic, rushed manner in which the state was divided behind closed doors in Parliament. Reaffirming his love for the region, Pawan stated that Telangana resides in his heart and categorically announced that the Jana Sena Party will definitively maintain its presence and contest elections in Telangana in the coming days.
