Continuous heavy rainfall over the past two days has caused severe disruption in Telangana’s Mancherial district. In Algaon village of Kotapalli mandal, a house collapsed due to the incessant rains, leaving a woman identified as Lakshmi seriously injured. She is currently undergoing treatment at the Mancherial Government Hospital.
Responding to the incident, Telangana Minister Duddilla Vivek Venkataswamy visited the government hospital to meet the injured woman. He enquired about her health condition with the doctors and interacted with her family members, assuring them of the government’s full support during this difficult time.
The minister directed officials to ensure that Lakshmi receives the best possible medical treatment without any hurdles. He also assured the family that the government would extend all necessary assistance as relief efforts continue in the rain-affected areas.
