Vivo has officially reintroduced its S-Series in India after nearly six years with the launch of the Vivo S2 5G on August 6, 2026. The smartphone comes with a premium design, a 3D curved AMOLED display, a 50MP Sony primary camera, a massive 7050mAh battery, and IP68 + IP69 water and dust resistance ratings. The company had confirmed the India launch ahead of its official debut.
The Vivo S2 5G is available in Silk White, Sapphire Blue, and Regal Bronze color options. The Sapphire Blue and Regal Bronze variants feature a slim 7.99mm profile, while the Silk White model measures 8.10mm in thickness. The Blue and Bronze versions weigh around 197 grams, whereas the White variant weighs approximately 199 grams.
Vivo has used a plastic composite material for the rear panel, aiming to balance durability with a lightweight feel. With its stylish design, large battery, and premium display, the Vivo S2 5G is expected to compete strongly in India’s upper mid-range smartphone segment.
