CPI Leaders Call for End to BJP Rule Over ‘Anti-People’ Policies

Nalgonda: CPI district assistant secretaries Palla Devender Reddy and L. Shravan Kumar have called upon people to put an end to what they described as the BJP government’s anti-people policies at the Centre.

The leaders participated as chief guests in the CPI Praja Chaitanya Yatra held in Nalgonda town on Friday. Addressing the gathering, they criticized the central government over the rising prices of essential commodities and alleged that the policies were placing a heavy financial burden on ordinary citizens.

They particularly accused the Centre of sharply increasing the prices of petrol, diesel, and cooking gas, along with essential goods. The CPI leaders said the rising costs were making it increasingly difficult for common people to manage their household expenses and urged the public to oppose the BJP’s policies.
