Vikarabad former MLA Dr. Metuku Anand attended the 11th anniversary celebrations of the Nava Telangana daily newspaper held at Shivakeshava Banquet Hall near Lalaguda in Vikarabad district headquarters. The event was attended by several representatives and well-wishers of the newspaper.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Metuku Anand said the media plays a crucial role in highlighting public issues and serving as the voice of the people. He appreciated the role of the press in bringing problems faced by society to the attention of the public and concerned authorities.
He further stated that the media acts as a bridge between the people and the government by continuously highlighting issues affecting society. He congratulated the Nava Telangana newspaper on completing 11 years and appreciated its contribution to journalism and public awareness.
