A blast occurred at the Adriyala Longwall Project of Singareni Collieries Company Limited in Ramagiri Mandal of Peddapalli district. An FBL air tank reportedly exploded at the project site, leaving five workers who were on duty with minor injuries.
The injured workers have been identified as operator Srinivas, fitter Kiran, worker Laxman, and helpers Prashanth and Manoj. After receiving information about the accident, project officials immediately shifted the injured workers to the Singareni Area Hospital in Godavarikhani for treatment.
Doctors at the hospital are providing emergency medical care to the injured workers. According to the doctors, the health condition of all five workers is currently stable. Further details regarding the cause of the air tank blast are awaited.
