Lookout Notice Issued Against YouTuber Anvesh: Mandatory Return to India Following Legal Trouble

Legal troubles are mounting for the famous travel vlogger Anvesh, popularly known for his channel “Naa Anveshana.” The Punjagutta police in Hyderabad have officially issued a Lookout Circular (LOC) against him. This move is designed to intercept and detain Anvesh at any international airport, facilitating his mandatory return to India. The vlogger, originally from Visakhapatnam, is currently abroad and is facing allegations of making derogatory comments about Hindu goddesses.

The case originated from a complaint filed by actress Karate Kalyani in December last year. She alleged that Anvesh released videos demeaning revered figures such as Goddess Sita and Draupadi, thereby hurting the religious sentiments of devotees. In addition to the police action, Meta has already blocked Anvesh’s Instagram account. Instead of de-escalating, Anvesh reportedly responded with a defiant video using offensive language, which further intensified the backlash and prompted authorities to expedite their investigation.

Anvesh Responds with Defiance and Financial Claims

Despite the ban on his Instagram account and the police notices, Anvesh remains vocal. In a recent controversial response, he claimed that the loss of his Instagram account does not affect him as it generates no income. He boasted about his financial stability, stating that he earns ₹8 lakh per month from YouTube and another ₹9 lakh from bank interest. He challenged his critics, asserting that as long as his “intelligence” and health remain intact, he will continue to produce content and will not bow down to any pressure.

Police Collaboration with Social Media Giants

To build a strong case, the Hyderabad police have been in active communication with both Instagram and YouTube. Following a formal request, Instagram provided the necessary video evidence to the authorities before banning the vlogger’s account. Hindu organizations have also been protesting, demanding a swift arrest and strict punishment. With the Lookout Notice now active, the police are closely monitoring his movements, ensuring that the moment he attempts to enter or transit through an airport, he will be taken into custody for questioning.
