Vijay’s Historic Debut: Jagan and Lokesh Lead the Chorus of Congratulations for TVK’s Success

Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and State Minister Nara Lokesh have extended their heartfelt congratulations to actor-turned-politician Vijay following the remarkable performance of his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. Jagan Mohan Reddy took to social media to commend Vijay, referring to him as his “dear brother” and highlighting the significance of TVK emerging as the single-largest party in its very first electoral outing. He wished Vijay immense strength as he transitions into a life of public service.

Echoing similar sentiments, TDP Working President Nara Lokesh described Vijay’s electoral entry as an “astounding debut” that has added a fresh dimension to Tamil Nadu’s political landscape. Lokesh noted that the results reflect the evolving aspirations of the people and expressed hope that Vijay would address their expectations with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment. These endorsements from prominent Telugu leaders underscore the widespread interest and regional impact of Vijay’s political rise in South India.

Beyond the Tamil Nadu results, the leaders also commented on the broader national political shifts across West Bengal, Assam, and Kerala. While Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed his sympathies toward Mamata Banerjee following the TMC’s setback, Nara Lokesh and Deputy Speaker K. Raghu Rama Krishna Raju hailed the NDA’s victories as a powerful mandate for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. They emphasized that the results represent a public endorsement of stability, development, and transparent governance in a forward-looking India.
