Trump-Like Looks Save an Albino Buffalo From Sacrifice; Safely Moved to Bangladesh National Zoo

An albino buffalo in Bangladesh that became an overnight social media sensation for its striking resemblance to former US President Donald Trump has had its life saved by its viral fame. The unique animal, which weighs around 700 kg, was originally sold by its owner to be sacrificed for the upcoming Bakrid festival. However, its distinct appearance captured widespread public attention and eventually prompted government authorities to intervene at the last minute to prevent the sacrifice.

The buffalo, nicknamed “Donald Trump” by netizens, belongs to an extremely rare albino breed in South Asia known for its gentle nature. It features a unique golden-colored tuft of hair that closely mirrors Trump’s signature hairstyle, along with a distinct white patch on its forehead. Recognizing the immense public interest and citing necessary security reasons, government officials stepped in, purchased the buffalo from its new buyers, and safely relocated it to the Bangladesh National Zoo in Dhaka, where it will be kept permanently on public display instead of being slaughtered.

The “Donald Trump” buffalo is not the only animal making waves online in the region. Netizens have also popularized another massive buffalo in Bangladesh weighing over 750 kg, playfully naming it “Benjamin Netanyahu”. Social media users have expressed their delight over the authorities’ decision, with many commenting that the buffalo’s uncanny facial expressions quite literally saved its life and predicting that the Dhaka zoo will soon be flooded with curious visitors eager to see the viral celebrity animal.
