“I Will Join This Campaign… Let’s Use E-Bikes If Possible” — Chandrababu Naidu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP national president, N. Chandrababu Naidu, has called upon his party cadre to launch a massive 45-day door-to-door public outreach campaign from June 25 to August 10. Under the campaign slogan “Show Cycle Power… Reach Out to the People,” Naidu urged party workers to actively connect with citizens. Leading by example, the Chief Minister announced that he will personally participate in the campaign on a bicycle, suggesting that party members utilize electric bicycles (e-bikes) wherever possible to promote the government’s message.

Speaking at a state-level workshop on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists held at the TDP central office, Naidu instructed leaders to prominently showcase the developmental and welfare milestones achieved by both the central and state governments. He emphasized that the campaign should highlight Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 12 years in office alongside his own milestone of serving a fourth term as Chief Minister. He reassured the party cadre that TDP remains deeply committed to worker welfare, citing welfare measures such as a 5 lakh insurance policy for deceased party workers’ families and specialized schooling for their children.

Addressing newly elected public representatives, Naidu issued a crucial piece of advice, warning them not to end up as “one-time MLAs” but to strive for consecutive victories through good governance. He pointed out that while hard work and administration are vital, a leader’s behavior and tone profoundly influence voters. He cautioned that a lack of restraint in speech could easily overshadow excellent public service, concluding that integrity, trust, and strong character are the most valuable assets for anyone from a grassroot worker to a top leader.
