Kurnool District Collector Dr. A. Siri has directed officials of all concerned departments to make strong arrangements for the smooth and incident-free conduct of the NEET PG 2026 online examination scheduled to be held in the district on August 30. The Collector held a teleconference on Saturday with RDOs, municipal commissioners and officials from various departments to review the arrangements for the examination.
The Collector said the NEET PG 2026 online examination will be conducted at seven centres across the district, with five centres in Kurnool, one in Adoni and one in Yemmiganur. A total of 2,114 candidates are expected to appear for the examination. As the test will be conducted in online mode, candidates will be allowed to enter the examination halls from 7:00 AM, while the examination will begin at 9:00 AM.
Dr. Siri said liaison officers and nodal officers have been appointed to oversee the examination arrangements. The Kurnool RDO and Kurnool Municipal Commissioner will serve as nodal officers for the examination centres in Kurnool. The DWMA Project Director will oversee the centre in Adoni, while the Yemmiganur Municipal Commissioner will act as the nodal officer for the examination centre in Yemmiganur. Officials were instructed to coordinate closely and ensure that all necessary arrangements are completed without any lapses.
