Bolisetti Srinivas Calls for Jana Sena to Strengthen Its Base Ahead of Local Body Polls

Tadepalligudem MLA Bolisetti Srinivas’ remarks at the Amalapuram Parliament Jana Sena workers’ meeting in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district have sparked discussion in political circles. He spoke about the political significance of the Kapu community, the future strategy of the Jana Sena Party and the importance of the upcoming local body elections. He called on party workers to begin preparations from now itself.

Bolisetti Srinivas said politics in Andhra Pradesh cannot be discussed without the Kapu community and claimed that Pawan Kalyan’s leadership has increased the community’s political importance. He alleged that attempts were being made to mislead Kapus in Konaseema, where the community has a significant presence, and criticised what he described as caste-based divisions created in Amalapuram in the past. He urged the party to contest the upcoming local body elections wherever Jana Sena has a strong base.

The MLA also asked party workers to work towards increasing Jana Sena’s strength to around 50–60 Assembly constituencies by the 2029 elections. He said strengthening the party at the grassroots through local bodies would be important for achieving better results in the future Assembly elections. Describing local body elections as a strong foundation for Assembly polls, he said the meeting also focused extensively on the party’s strategy for the upcoming local elections.
