Former minister and BRS MLA Harish Rao strongly criticised the Revanth Reddy government, alleging that while public issues were addressed during the KCR administration, the present government was creating new problems for people. He accused the Congress government of causing more difficulties than relief for the public and alleged that land-related issues were increasing under the name of ‘Praja Palana’. He claimed that ordinary people were suffering due to government decisions.
Harish Rao particularly criticised the issue of 22-A lands. He said Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy has stated that not even a single cent of new land has been added to the prohibited list, but alleged that the situation on the ground was completely different. According to Harish Rao, privately owned lands, residential colonies, apartments and even entire villages have been included in the prohibited list.
Harish Rao alleged that people are deeply concerned about the status of their lands, while the government is attempting to hide the actual situation. He demanded clarity from the government and criticised its handling of the 22-A land issue, stating that the decisions were causing serious difficulties for landowners across Telangana.
