End the Menace of Illegal Infiltration; Liberate Bengal: Amit Shah’s Bold Call in Hooghly

Addressing a massive public rally in Balagarh, Hooghly district, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on the current administration over the issue of illegal immigration. He emphasized that the influx of undocumented migrants has severely impacted West Bengal’s security and economy. Shah asserted that once a BJP government is formed in the state, they will ensure not a single person crosses the border illegally and will identify and deport those already residing within the state.

The Home Minister further alleged that illegal immigrants are snatching away essential resources, including rations and job opportunities, that rightfully belong to the local youth. He characterized this as a significant hurdle to the state’s overall development. Shah urged the electorate to recognize that their vote is not just for selecting an MLA, but a decisive step toward liberating Bengal from the clutches of illegal infiltration. He expressed absolute confidence that Mamata Banerjee’s “Didi” rule would come to an end by May 5th.

His remarks coincide with the first phase of the West Bengal Assembly elections, covering 152 constituencies. Highlighting the public’s enthusiasm for change, Shah noted that a remarkable voter turnout of over 89% was recorded by 5:00 PM on polling day. He interpreted this massive participation as a clear mandate against the incumbent government. With the election process underway, the Home Minister’s statements have further intensified the political atmosphere in the battle for Bengal.
