In a significant recognition of his governance reforms, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was conferred with the prestigious ‘Business Reformer of the Year’ award. The honor was presented by the prominent media house Economic Times during its Excellence Awards ceremony held in Mumbai on Saturday. Naidu received the award from the hands of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, marking a high point in his career as a leader known for administrative and economic transformations.
Accepting the award, Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the transformative power of technology in driving national and regional growth. He highlighted the P4 (Public-Private-People Partnership) scheme as a “game-changer” in the fight against poverty. Under this initiative, he noted that one lakh mentors have adopted ten lakh individuals to guide them toward self-reliance. He further stressed that social justice, gender equality, and women’s empowerment are the cornerstones of a progressive society.
Reflecting on his long-standing vision, Naidu credited the current success of Hyderabad to the ‘Vision 2020’ policies implemented during his previous tenure. He stated that he had meticulously studied national and global conditions before and after introducing reforms to ensure sustainable development. Urging the next generation to embrace emerging technologies, he reaffirmed his commitment to replicating such success stories through innovative governance and strategic reforms in the present day.
